Really I haven't forgotten about my blog! I have been busy working on several projects. Helping my hubby build a bus shelter (so I don't have to stand outside and freeze with the kids in the morning). I am pretty good with a saw, not so great with measuring! But I do love to try!
We are also trying to get approval for a renovation... I am hoping it's successful so that I can get some more craft space!
I have also been busy working on a new class that I will be teaching at Scrapbook Memories. I am VERY excited about this one. It's a scrapbooking basics class, it is going to be fun! I get very excited when I can share one of my addictions, ummm I mean hobbies! :)
I also learned something this weekend. I was doing some good old fashion paper scrapbooking, instead of the usual digital stuff. I apparently need an UNDO button on my paper scrapbooking. Next purchase, repositionable adhesive because apparently after I have made up my mind I like to change it AGAIN! Good thing I have a good 'picky stick'. I have always been bad at putting stickers on then taking them off but seriously now it's my entire layout! Oh ya and it's much easier to mat photos on a computer! :) One thing I do love is my new magnetic mat. Oooohhh la la! Makes getting things lined up on a page a piece of cake!
OK off to bed I go now!

Where is the time going?
Wow things have been a little crazy around our house. Between school wrapping up and work I haven't had much time to play with cards! I have been getting some of my scrapbooking done though and I am happy to report I have 2011 done for one of my kids, only 2 more to go! (One day I will catch up, one day I will catch up, one day I will...)
My sweet girl turned 5 last week and I decided I wanted to make lady bug cupcakes and try my hand at fondant for the first time. It went fairly well, the marshmallow fondant was not easy on the old tennis elbow, but worth it as far as taste is concerned! So anyway here is a pic of some of my hard work! Can you believe it took 1 1/2 hours to make 8 of the lady bugs?) Next project is the boys birthday and a cake with a Trailer on it... time to spark up the Cricut cake for the next one! (I was going to put campers and trucks on cupcakes for the boys, but I am wimping out and going for A cake with A trailer! Less Fondant rolling! :) )

Challenge #9
Well finally I got some to time make a card this week. I am still fighting a nasty cold and not happy about it! :) Anyway I had some fun playing with Yellow over at the Copic Challenge Blog. I also decided to use the sketch at Mojo Monday's for some inspiration!
Ingredients
Paper - left over bits
Stampin Up Embossing Folder
Yellow bling
Spellbinders
Copics
Flower Y00,Y13,Y15, Y18,Y28,Y26, Y28,YR09, Gelly Roll White
Leaves YG11, YG13, YG17
Airbrush in Y38
I was happy with the flower once I added some airbrushing to match the background lacy circle. I found the white was just to stark.

Challenge #8
Well I managed to make a card today... not letting this cold ruin my entire week! :)
My inspirations for this week. The sketch at Mojo Monday! I also threw in the Playing with Pastels Challenge from Stamptacular Sunday. A little bit of "Spring Pretties" from the Copic Challenge blog!
Ingredients
Bazzil Bling White paper for base
Spellbinders
Copics
Bunny - E21, E23, E25, 0, C1, C3, RV10, RV11
Flowers Y11, Y17, YR23, YR21, Y26, RV21, RV23
Flowers - Stems YG13, YG17, YG67
Stampin' Up Sentiment
Assorted Flowers
Embossing Folder for yellow base
What I Learned
Apparently I do not have many pastel colours in my card stock pack!
Making a spring bunny with some white and some brown is interesting! :)
Working with pastels can be so much fun!
Today as my boys were back at school my daughter wanted to craft with me as well. So she made a card for Dad on the left and for the Easter Bunny on the right. It was her first time using Brads (I better hide my stash now!) She is addicted to tape right now so there is no stopping her! She played with my punches as well. I think she had fun, but she wouldn't wait until Easter to give Dad her card!

Silhouette Fun!
Well other than my silly cold I had fun showing off some silhouette techniques with vinyl at a local store last night! I do love my electronic gadgets and when you throw in some crafting I am really happy! Now hopefully feeling good enough to make some cards tomorrow!
